How long does a modernization project take?

A focused re-platform or database migration typically takes 8 to 14 weeks. Larger, multi-phase modernizations of complex systems usually run 16 to 32 weeks, often delivered in stages so the business sees improvement before the full project wraps.

Do we need a full rewrite, or can the existing system be refactored?

It depends on the system, and we assess that honestly during the audit. Refactoring is often faster, cheaper and lower risk than a full rewrite, and we recommend it whenever it genuinely fixes the underlying problem.
