What does server management actually include?

Server management covers continuous monitoring, patch management, backup configuration and verification, performance tuning, security hardening and routine administration of your servers. It is the ongoing care that keeps a server healthy, not a one-time setup.

Do you manage on-premise servers, cloud servers, or both?

Both. We manage on-premise physical and virtualised servers as well as cloud-hosted infrastructure across Azure, AWS and Google Cloud. Many of our clients run a mix of both, managed under one consistent process.

How quickly will you respond if a server goes down?

Critical server alerts have a technician actively responding within 15 minutes under our standard service targets. Monitoring is continuous, so in most cases we are already responding before anyone internally notices a problem.

How do you handle patching without causing downtime?

Patches are tested and applied during scheduled maintenance windows agreed with you in advance, with a rollback plan in place for every change. We do not push untested patches to production servers outside agreed windows.

How do you know our backups actually work?

We monitor backup job completion and run scheduled test restores on a recurring basis. A backup is only considered reliable once a restore from it has actually been verified, not simply because the job reported success.

Which server operating systems do you support?

We support Windows Server across current versions, major Linux distributions including Ubuntu, CentOS and RHEL, and the virtualisation platforms that run on top of them, including VMware and Hyper-V.

Can you manage our Active Directory environment?

Yes. Active Directory and Entra ID administration, including group policy, user and group management and domain health monitoring, is a standard part of our server management scope.

What happens if our server capacity needs to grow?

We track resource utilisation and growth trends as part of ongoing performance review, and flag capacity constraints with recommendations before they become a problem, rather than reacting once a server has already run out of headroom.

Do you provide disaster recovery planning?

Yes. We document recovery plans with defined recovery time objectives for your critical servers and test them regularly, so there is a rehearsed path back to operation if a server fails.

How is server management priced?

Most engagements run as a monthly retainer covering a defined number of managed servers, typically between ₹15,000 and ₹1,50,000 per month depending on server count, platform mix and coverage level, based on typical Gujarat, India market rates. Project-based migrations and upgrades are quoted separately, and every engagement gets a written, itemized quote before work begins.
